Plate

Structural concept of plates used in shipbuilding. Plate has the following child elements:

NetArea ocx ocx:Quantity_T req. [1, 1] False The net plate area computed by the sending application. The NetArea is the net area of the plate representing the actual plate contour and cut-outs removing material from the plate:NetAra*t*density = DryWeight
Offset ocx ocx:Quantity_T opt. [0, 1] False The material offset form the parent surface. A material offset is measured positive along the parent surface normal vector.
OuterContour ocx ocx:Contour3D_T req. [1, 1] False The geometry of the outer closed contour limiting a surface, represented by a set of trim curves or a closed curve primitive.
PlateCutBy ocx ocx:PlateCutBy_T opt. [0, 1] False A structural concept defining a cut-out in a surface defined by a parametric hole or a set of generic trim curves. Cut-outs on plate will only remove material of the parent plate, no other parts. Apply cutBy either on Panel or on Plate level, but not on both.

UnboundedGeometry ocx ocx:UnboundedGeometry_T opt. [0, 1] False The unbounded surface geometry of the parent element.

Plate has the following attributes:

functionType ocx Restriction of type xs:string opt. The structure function type giving the structure property function. Follows STEP AP218 coding and IACS Rec 82 Glossary. Enumerator of structure functions which shall be assigned to the parent structure concept.
GUIDRef ocx ocx:guid req. A globally Unique ID referring an entity in the sending application.
name ocx xs:string opt. An optional descriptive or display name.
id ocx xs:ID req. An identifier for an element unique within the scope of the XML file. Each id must be unique within a document. The attribute uses the standard XML 1.0 ID type as defined in the XML Schema specification. This attribute is required in many OCX XML elements and an application should generate them automatically.
